2005 Breakdown of Cases by Locality
So far in 2005, Virginia has reported one positive case of WNV, a 12-year-old gelding from Albemarle Co. The horse has recovered.

Eastern Equine Encephalitis
Virginia has reported six cases of EEE so far in 2005: four from the City of
Chesapeake and one each from the City of Suffolk and Sussex County.
