Horses and Other Equines

Interstate movement requirements for equines have not changed under the new federal Animal Disease Traceability Rule. In general, some form of individual identification and a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection are required, but equine owners are advised to check specific entry requirements for the state of destination before transporting animals across state lines.
