Benefits of Grain Inspection
Grain quality is a critical component in price negotiations. Because grain can "go out of condition" during transport, it is advantageous for buyers and sellers to know the most current official grade on both inbound and outbound grain shipments.
Grain sellers and buyers can be assured of the current official grade when grain is officially inspected on ships, rail cars, barges and trucks by trained, experienced inspectors. Grain Marketing can perform these inspections and provide the needed documents certifying grain quality. You may also submit your own grain samples for quality inspection to an official Grain Marketing lab.
