LOCAL FOOD HUB Description: The Local Food Hub is a community supported nonprofit based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Our mission is to strengthen and secure the future of a healthy regional food supply by providing small local farmers with concrete services that support and advance their economic vitality and promote stewardship of the land. Servicing Area: Our service area focuses on Central Virginia with the Thomas Jefferson Planning District (Albemarle, Nelson, Green, Fluvanna, and Louisa counties and the City of Charlottesville) being our center of focus but we are not exclusive to those counties if there is someone nearby that would like to be a partner producer of the hub. |
