Throughout the week, Jennifer Leech, a dairy farmer from Lexington, will do an online account of a typical day on a Virginia farm.
She is part of Ingleside Dairy, a family farm in Lexington, Virginia, and farms with her parents and brother Beau. Jennifer takes care of their 240-cow herd. Ingleside was the first dairy farm in Virginia to go robotic. They use an A-4 Lely robotic milking system, as well as a robotic calf feeder.
Jennifer holds a degree in Dairy Science from Virginia Tech.
