BOARD OF AGRICULTURE AND CONSUMER SERVICES TO MEET

The Virginia Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services will meet on August 4, 2009 in Beale Memorial Baptist Church Building, 202 Church Road, Tappahannock, Virginia.  The meeting, which will begin at 1 p.m., is open to the public.

        Tentative Agenda:

• Call to Order/Roll Call
• Approval of Draft Minutes for the Previous Meeting
• Reports from Board Members
• Commissioner’s Report  

At 2 p.m., the Board will stop its regular meeting to convene a public hearing on
Fire Ant Quarantine (2 VAC 5-315).  Immediately following the public hearing, the Board will reconvene in regular session to consider the remaining items.
