Licensing of Pesticide Businesses
Who is exempt?

The following are exempt from having to obtain a Pesticide Business License:
1. Merchants of limited quantities of nonrestricted use pesticides (less
than $50,000 annually, per outlet) who sell pesticides primarily intended
for limited household use.
2. Federal, state and local government agencies.
3. Certified applicators
not for hire.
4. Providers of janitorial, cleaning or sanitizing services,
if no pesticides other than sanitizer, disinfectants and germicides are
used.
