Virginia Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services to Meet, Hold Public Hearing July 24 in Rural Retreat

The Virginia Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services will meet on Tuesday, July 24, at the Rural Retreat Depot in Rural Retreat, VA. The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. At 3 p.m. the Board will hold a public hearing on proposed regulations governing the pesticide fees charged by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS).

Tentative agenda:

  • Approval of the minutes of the May 2018 meeting
  • Board member reports
  • VDACS report, Commissioner Jewel Bronaugh, PhD
  • 3 p.m. – the Board will go out of regular session to hold a public hearing on 2 VAC 5-675 - regulations governing the pesticide fees charged by VDACS
