Directions:  From Charlottesville, south on U.S. 29 approximately 30 miles.  Turn right on Drumheller Orchard Lane.  Orchard located 1 mile behind Nelson County High School.  From Lynchburg, north on U.S. 29 approximately 30 miles.  Turn left on Drumheller Orchard Lane.
Hours:  9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Saturday; 12 noon-5 p.m., Sunday; September 10-December 21, 2007.  Closed Thanksgiving Day and Sundays following.
Special Comments:  Apple Festival – September 29-30, October 20-21, 2007.  Large selection of apples, hayrides to pumpkin patch, corn maze, apple sling shot, apple butter, free cider samples, crafts, country music, food, apple butter making on festival Saturdays only.  Tour groups welcomed.
Products:  Fresh-picked peaches July 15-August 15.  Call ahead for varieties and ripening dates.  Select-your-own apples – Albemarle Pippin, Red and Golden Delicious, York, Stayman, Winesap, Rome, Jonathan, Granny Smith, Fuji.  Fresh cider, apple butter, pumpkins, honey, country hams and side meat, sweet potatoes, and sorghum molasses.
