Virginia's fruit and vegetable industry is a dynamic segment of the state's vigorous agricultural economy. Vegetables ranging from asparagus to zucchini are available from the eastern half of the state, especially the Eastern Shore. Add apples, peaches and nectarines from the Shenandoah Valley, as well as mountain-grown cabbage from the Southwest, and you have a virtual cornucopia of produce grown and packed only hours away from markets in the Eastern United States.

Many of our growers/shippers have been active in the international market for many years and are able to meet Canadian import requirements as well as those of the Caribbean and Mexico. In the case of apples, many have the capability of exporting to Europe and elsewhere. They are eager to work with you.
