Directions: I-95 to exit 92B (Ashland).  turn right at the third stoplight onto Route 1 and go 4 miles.  Turn left at yellow blinking light onto Old Ridge Road.  Continue 4 miles. Farm is on left.
Hours: Seasonal, daily, March-December. 
Special Comments: Greenhouses, garden center, water gardens.  All the pumpkins you can carry.  Christmas shop and trees.  Haunted Evenings, Strawberry Fair and other agritainment events - check the Web site for details.
Products: Pick-your-own pumpkins.

Description: Stop by the Ashland Farmers’ Market for delicious produce grown within a 30-mile radius of this turn-of-the-century railroad town.  Enjoy a variety of fruits, vegetables, herbs, honey and flowers.  Meet and talk with the growers.   This market is located in the heart of historic downtown Ashland, where the trains still rumble past historic homes, shops and unique eateries.
Directions: I-95 to exit 92.  Head west on Route 54 towards Ashland.  Cross the railroad tracks.  When road comes to a “V,” bear left.  Take first right onto Duncan Street.
Hours: 9 a.m.- 12 Noon, Saturdays, May through November.
Activities: General fun, information from growers and Hanover Master Gardeners.

Directions:  I-64 east to Highland Springs or I-295 to exit 31A (Cold Harbor).  Bear right at Citgo station (Market Road).  Bear left at Black Creek Country Store (still Market Road), about 1.25 miles on right.
Hours:  8 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Friday; 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday; 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday, April-November.
Special Comments:  We pick every day.  Fresh produce at shed all the time when in season.  We have more than 200 acres of vegetables.
Products:  Pick-your-own strawberries.  Vegetables picked daily include Hanover tomatoes; summer squash, zucchini; cherry, grape and Roma tomatoes; tomatillas, bell peppers, 10 kinds of hot peppers; cantaloupes, watermelon; eggplant, access to sweet corn.  Fall pumpkins, turnips, salad greens.

Directions:  From Richmond, take Route 33 west through Montpelier.  Turn right on Beaverdam Road (Route 715).  Go approximately 8 miles.  Turn right on Tyler Station Road (Route 658).  Go 1.1 miles.  Turn right into driveway.  Go to last house.  From Ashland, take Route 54 west, which becomes Route 33 at Montpelier.  Follow directions from Beaverdam Road.
Hours:  9 a.m.-7 p.m., daily, during blackberry season.  Other hours by appointment.
Special Comments:  Call for availability.  Thornless blackberries usually available starting first week in July depending on weather conditions.
Products:  Pick-your-own blackberries and limited quantity of fall raspberries.

Directions: I-95, exit 86 toward Atlee.  Take Sliding Hill Road.  It will change to Mt. Hermon (Route 656).  Turn right on Stumpy Road, then right in driveway.  Farm is on corner of Stumpy and Mt. Hermon Roads.
Hours: 10 a.m.-7 p.m., daily, mid-May to Labor Day.
Special Comments: We also sell at the Ashland Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.
Products: Small fruits and vegetables, including strawberries, tomatoes, bi-color sweet corn and cantaloupes.  Call for information on other vegetables in which you are interested.

Directions:  From I-295 and 301, go north on Route 301 (Chamberlayne Road) for 3 miles.  Turn left on Route 643 (New Ashcake Road).  Go 1.5 miles to Windy Knoll Farm sign on left.  Turn left on Windy Knoll Drive (private road).  Go 1 mile to Christmas Cottage.  (Within one mile on private road, you will cross railroad tracks - be sure to stop, look and listen before crossing the tracks.) 
Hours:  1-5 p.m., Fridays; 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturdays during the month of October.
Special Comments:  Wagon rides to and from fields.  Wagon rides for daycare groups by appointment.  Wholesale orders if supplies permit. 
Products:  Pick-your-own pumpkins and gourds.
