Special Comments: Our family farm is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the historic Green Springs area. We utilize external forms of fly/pest control to minimize contact with pesticides. The cattle roam on land that has not been treated with herbicides for decades. They are fed on natural forage subsidized with seasonal grasses to promote wildlife. They get water from an artesian well and spend their stress-free days in the shade of 100-year-old trees. They are fully vaccinated and wormed. Antibiotics are given as needed. No forms of steroids or other synthetic growth promoters are used. From birth to purchase, the cattle are well cared for and allowed to mature naturally. We currently carry both Angus and Devon mix. We strive to provide our patrons with the utmost culinary experience.
