Directions: Take 17 north over the Coleman Bridge, go 11 miles to Gloucester Business 17 on the right after McDonalds and Danny’s Glass.  Go to stoplight and turn right.  Continue on Route 14 for 9 miles to Shell gas station.  Take next right on 617 (North River Road).  Farm is 1/2 mile on right.  Map is on Web site.
Hours: 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays; 1-6 p.m., Fridays and Mondays, September 19-November 15.  School tours 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Special Comments: Belmont Pumpkin Farm is open for school tours by reservation weekdays, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.  Our tours are a fun learning experience with activities correlated with Virginia SOLs.  We also have tours for Scouts and seniors by reservation.  We are open to the public Monday and Friday, 1-6 p.m. and weekends, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.  Each weekend the farm has treasure hunts, scarecrow making, hayrides, sunflower trails and picking, pumpkin painting and delicious pumpkin desserts, barbecue, hotdogs and cider.  Sunflower Fest, September 19-20, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.  Pumpkin Fest, first weekend in October (3-4) from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Products: Pick-your-own sunflowers and pumpkins.

Directions: Take Route 14 to Riverside Convalescent Center in Mathews.  Turn onto the road next to the center, which is Tabernacle Road (Route 611).  Go approximately 1.3 miles to the third two-story house on the left.  Next to the old outboard motor shop.  Look for the sign.
Hours: Fresh vegetables - 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Tuesday-Friday, April-January;  8 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, late November-January.  Spring and summer at farmers markets.  Plant sales anytime. 
Special Comments: We specialize in a large variety of fresh produce grown using organic gardening practices.
Products: Fresh vegetables available late April to late January.  Fresh-cut flowers, late spring to summer.  Spring and fall vegetable plants, including heirloom tomatoes and herb plants.

Directions: From Highway 17 in Gloucester, take Route 14 toward Mathews.  Make a right on Route 611, right on Route 621, right on Route 622.  Go 1 mile and take a left on Route 623 (Thurston Road).  First right on dirt road (Preston Pt. Road) to end.  From I-64 exit at West Point, take Route 33 to Glenns intersection with Route 17.  Cross over Route 17.  Route 33 becomes Route 198.  Follow Route 198 to Mathews.  Turn right onto Route 621, right on 622, left on 623 (Thurston Road), first right on dirt road (Preston Pt. Road) to end.
Hours: 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Call ahead for confirmation of hours and picking conditions.  Aquaculture tours and talks by appointment.
Special Comments: Quaint early 1800s waterfront farm.  Recipient of Clean Water Farm Award.  We initiated and helped establish the Virginia’s Finest label for blueberries.  Picnic area available.  All picking containers provided.  Please bring take-home containers (low, flat boxes suggested).
Products: Pick-your-own spray-free blueberries.  Farm-raised clams and oysters grown and available on premises.  Local distributor offering discounts on oyster and clam cages and floats.  Aquaculture netting for fish cages.  Oyster and clam seed available on request.  Free aquaculture advisory service.

Directions: From Gloucester Courthouse, take Route 14 to Mathews County.  Turn right at the intersection with Route 198.  Follow Route 198 to end.  Turn left at stop sign onto Salem Church Road, bear right at first curve onto Haven Beach Road.  We are 0.4 mile up on left.  From Middlesex County, take Route 33 from Hartfield into Mathews County.  Turn left onto Route 198 at Get & Zip.  Travel to end of Route 198.  Turn left on Salem Church Road and bear right at first curve onto Haven Beach Road.  We are 0.4 mile up on the left.
Hours: Variable.  We pick seven days a week during the season, depending upon weather and field conditions.  Please call for times and availability.  Street hours - 10 a.m.-sold out; farm hours - 9-11a.m. or by appointment.
Special Comments: We sell from our little green truck parked on Main Street, Mathews, most days during season and by appointment at the farm.  Please call ahead for times and availability – 804-725-5366.
Products: Fresh-picked, sweet, tender asparagus.
