Special Comments: Cross River Farms, LLC is a family-owned business committed to raising contented, healthy cattle and high quality beef.  Our cattle are pasture weaned and silage finished and are hormone and antibiotic free.  We sell common retail cuts of beef, as well as bones and organs.  For those interested in purchasing whole animals, sides and half sides, we are happy to make those arrangements.

Directions: From Richmond, go east on Route 60 to intersection of Route 522 to the right and and Route 1002 (Emmanuel Church Road) on the left.  Turn left.  Go approximately 1/2 mile.  Barley Farms Lane in on the right.  Second house after road becomes gravel.  Sign at driveway.
Hours: 9 a.m.-5 p.m., daily, year-round by appointment.
Special Comments: Breeding, sales and boarding of alpacas.     In the process of developing a farm shop with alpaca products and educational classes in spinning and felting.  Participate in local fall festivals in Powhatan, selling alpaca products - Festival of the Grape, Harvest Festival, Christmas Parade, October-December.  Also participate in the Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival (first weekend in May) in Howard Co., MD. 
Products: Alpaca products from raw fiber to fully-finished products, including hats, scarves, gloves and sweaters.
