Description: Come visit Northern Virginia’s only indoor farmers’ market. Rain or shine, you can enjoy locally-grown and hand-made products. Take your time as you stroll through the stalls of a restored horse barn to find fresh vegetables, baked goods, flowers, eggs, beef, lamb, and much more.
Directions: From D.C., take I-66 west to exit 31. Market is on the right at bottom of ramp. From Warrenton, take Route 17 north toward Marshall. Turn right onto Route 245 (Old Tavern Road). Market is approximately 3 miles up on the right.
Hours: 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Sundays, beginning the last Sunday of April until the last Sunday in November; also, first two Sundays in December.
Activities: “County Fair Days” – Last Sunday of each month. Many extra hand-made products available. “Halloween Party,” last Sunday in October. Come in costume and trick-or-treat the vendors. “Christmas on the Farm,” first two Sundays in December. Fresh trees, wreaths, roping and hand-made gifts. Call for details on dates and times.

Hours: Season is mid-April to early November; weekends serving ice cream. Festivals and corn maze. Monday-Friday group tours by appointment.
Special Comments: Take a narrated hayride tour and learn about modern dairy farming on our 300-cow family dairy. Learn about the daily life of a dairy cow from birth to production. Have fun getting lost in our corn maze (seasonal), enjoy a delicious hand-dipped ice cream cone or visit our small animal area. Special events all through the season. Specializing in group tours and events.

Directions: From Northern Virginia area, take I-66 west to Markham, exit 18. Turn right on Route 688, then immediately make left onto Belle Meade Lane. Orchard is ¼ mile on right.
Hours: 8 a.m.-6 p.m., daily, June 15-October 31.
Special Comments: Driveway to orchard takes you through cow fields, hay fields, the main house built in 1775, past 10 other barns and out buildings up to the top of the orchards where there is a 360-degree view of the valley to enjoy while you pick fruit and picnic. Free hayrides in the fall and hay bales to climb. For fruit ripening dates and varieties of apples, call or visit our Web site.
Products: Pick-your-own cherries (sweet and sour), beginning June 15 (call ahead); pick-your-own blueberries, July 1-31; pick-your-own peaches, August 1-31 (call ahead); pick-your-own and fresh-picked apples, August 1-October 31; fresh apple cider, honey from orchard, sweet corn, and pumpkins. Directions: Take Route 50 to Paris. Turn south on Route 17. Go 2 miles. Turn right on Route 688 (Leeds Manor Road). Go 1 mile to the second orchard. Turn right on Snowden Road (Rt. 711). Go 1/2 mile. Follow signs to orchard. From I-66, exit Route 66 at Exit 23 (Route 17 north to Delaplane). About 2 miles after exiting, cross Goose Creek and the railroad tracks at Delaplane. Continue on Route 17 for about 5 miles. Turn left on Route 688 (Leeds Manor Road). Go 1 mile to the second orchard. Turn right on Snowden Road (Rt. 711). Go 1/2 mile. Follow signs to the orchard.
Hours: We are open for orchard and small fruit according to the season. Check our Web site (www.hollinfarms.com) for up-to-date information. Approximate harvest times: Strawberries, late May and June; peaches, tomatoes, raspberries, and blackberries, mid July thru first part of September. Pumpkins in October. We sell natural Angus beef throughout the year.
Special Comments: We are a four generational family farm on the Virginia Peach Way (Leeds Manor Road near Delaplane). The farm is located high on the eastern slope of the Blue Ridge with beautiful views of the Historic Crooked Run Valley. The farm is about an hour from the Washington, DC Beltway and next door to Sky Meadows State Park, which has miles of hiking trails. The farm is the recipient of the Harry Jones Conservation Award for its environmental practices. Matthew Davenport and his wife, Shannon, won the Young Farmer Achievement Award from the Virginia Farm Bureau.

Special Comments: Our 100% certified organic, free range Angus beef is raised on over 600 acres of rolling woods and grass-and-clover pasture. Our cattle are never confined, roaming on 3+ acres of land per head, and can be either grass-fed or finished on free-choice organic grains. Our farm is ecologically friendly, sustainable, and local, which decreases our dependence on fossil fuels. All of our hay is grown right here and is 100% organic.

Special Comments: Historic buildings and 200-year-old home provide backdrop for a wonderful day of picking fruit, shopping at the Harvest House, and picnicking. Goats, donkeys, cows, horses, pigs, and chickens to pet and admire. On-site Snack Shack for lunches or snacks and bakery with homemade breads, pies, and pastries. Great view of the Blue Ridge. Fresh vegetables in season.
