Farmers' Market Week 2014 ~ Sunday, August 3 – Saturday, August 9

Farmers’ markets serve as business incubators and play a vital role in enabling small to medium size growers and businesses access to consumers. Farmers’ markets can allow part time growers the opportunity to transition to full time or larger operations.  Markets also encourage farmers to add value to crops, through the promotion of jams, breads and sauces.  Farmers’ markets provide a venue to test market new products and to build a loyal and appreciative customer base.
