Special Comments:  Brittany Farms is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the historic Green Springs area.  The cattle roam a family farm that has not been treated with herbicides for decades.  The farm utilizes external forms of fly/pest control so as to minimize contact with pesticides.  They are fed on natural forage subsidized with seasonal grasses to promote wildlife.  They get water from an artesian well and spend their stress-free days in the shade of 100-year-old trees.  They are fully vaccinated and wormed.  The fencing is without barbs; this promotes beautiful hides.  Antibiotics are given as needed.  No forms of steroids or other synthetic growth promoters are used with the cattle.  From birth to purchase, the cattle are well cared for and allowed to mature naturally.  The farm currently carries both Angus and Devon mix.  The farm strives to provide patrons with the utmost culinary experience.
