The Office of Veterinary Services is responsible for the state’s animal disease control and prevention efforts, which include investigating outbreaks, providing laboratory diagnostics and containing the spread of animal diseases.
The office manages import requirements and Certificates of Veterinary Inspection, provides oversight to Livestock Services facilities, and implements the Animal Disease Traceability Program.
