We are pleased to invite you to attend the 2023 Virginia Agricultural Trade Conference, which will be held on November 1, 2023, at the Richmond Convention Center. This conference is organized by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, in partnership with the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation, the Port of Virginia, and the Virginia Tech Department of Agricultural & Applied Economics

The 2023 Virginia Agricultural Trade Conference is a one-day event that will bring together farmers, exporters, policymakers, and other stakeholders to discuss the latest trends in global agricultural markets and trade. The conference will feature keynote addresses from Matthew Lohr, Virginia Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry, Ted McKinney, CEO of NASDA, and Daniel Whitley, Administrator of the Foreign Agricultural Service. There will also be panel discussions on a variety of topics, including growing Virginia agricultural exports, market development opportunities in Africa, and renewable fuels.

The conference is a great opportunity for attendees to learn about the latest trends in global agricultural markets and trade and to network with other professionals in the industry. The registration fee is $95.00 per person, which includes lunch and refreshments.

To reserve a room at the Marriott separate registration is required. Follow the “Hotel” tab on the website. The hotel room block closes on October 10, 2023.

We look forward to seeing you at the conference and thank you for your interest in Virginia agriculture.
