DAIRY FARMS, MILK HAULERS & CHEESEMAKING OPERATIONS
The Dairy Services Program administers the Virginia Dairy Laws and related regulations designed to ensure the safety and wholesomeness of milk and dairy products
Dairy Services activities include: on-farm inspections of Grade "A" and manufactured grade dairy farms; raw milk sampling; final product sampling of cheese, butter, and ice cream; dairy manufacturing plant inspections; milk hauler/sampler permitting and evaluations; milk tanker inspections; and the investigations of any related complaints.
