The Office of Charitable and Regulatory Programs (OCRP) is responsible for administration of the Virginia Health Club
Act.
Before entering into a contract with a health club, it is advisable to verify the registration and
bond status of the club with OCRP (see Registered Health Clubs list below). For more information,
visit our Frequently Asked Questions.

notes prior to purchase.

- Complaint Form (PDF)
If you have a complaint against a health club you must address the complaint first with the health
club to allow them the opportunity to resolve it. If you cannot reach a resolution with the club, you
may then contact our office. The first step to initiating the complaint process is to submit a
completed complaint form. Once the complaint form is received by this office, we will review the
complaint and advise if the complaint falls under our regulatory authority and what steps we will take
to try to facilitate resolution.
