emergency, call 911. To report a suspected foodborne illness to the Virginia Department of Agriculture and
Consumer Services,
please use My Meal Detective and fill out the form as thoroughly as possible. Your report will
be examined, and investigated if necessary.
If you have concerns regarding a manufactured food or retail food establishment, please contact the VDACS
Food Safety Program regional office that covers the location of the food establishment.
